Duncan Clark joined the team in 2010 in the first episode of series 27. Although not much is known about his personal life, he appears to have issues with Matt Burke at first for his boss not remembering his name and calling him 'Son'.
Biography[]
Duncan Clark was enthusiastic about his unusual occupation but had yet to encounter DCI Matt Burke's gruff manner and caustic wit. Although even the DCI is tough-talking, he probably wouldn't have got the stomach for dissecting the bodies that often end up in the mortuary. According to the official Taggart website, he has a knowledge of war films.
